Dopo un lungo tour in tutta la penisola nella prima parte del 2023, tra cui anche il live esplosivo con i Finley di quest’estate, esce finalmente il nuovo album dei JOANNA “Punk Upon A Time…”, full di quel loro disney punk rock rivelatosi spassoso e vincente.
La Disney e il punk rock/pop-punk: due mondi forse distanti ma perfetti insieme proprio per creare un vero vortice emo, tra le music vibes pop-punk dei 90-00s (Green Day, blink182, Sum41, ...) e i film disney della nostra infanzia.
Un mix di ricordi, fatto di vhs e walkman prima, dvd e lettore cd poi, cuffiette, zaino eastpak in spalla, skate, zapping su mtv, sognando la california dei blink-182 con il mantra “Hakuna Matata” di Timon e Pumba come life mood. È una giostra che va.
